Sultry and Dry but the Bus across
a 125 KM from Pune flies
The Traffic The Roads better we close our Eyes
They said Shivaji was born
in Shivneri somewhere
near Bhimasankar,
Yet another Jyotir Lingam of Mine!
The Temple upto which Pictures are allowed!
Looked a 3oo years or more
Sedate Linga inside
Inspired me again
Devotees down the slope
carry wild flowers as a stamp of their Devotion!
One side of the Temple
May be Krishna I dont know
I understood
Shivaji was here
Daily and every day
He endowed Gold&ORnaments on this Deity
as his mother admired this Shiva!
The Temple Tower in its architectural splendour
Intricate in Nature
Silence all around of Sahyadri Hills
Made me look around every second
whether the leopard was indeed near!
The LInga never registered on my Fear!!
Another side of the Tower
Hanuman to remove my fear
In a wild forest at 3250 feet
I fell flat on His feet!
A closer look of the other side I missed
I still went round and round
As Bhimasankara I belived in You
Only I know I am You!
I left by the same Bus which borught me
As I was disappointed I cdnt stay anywhere
A good samaritan Tea wallah near the temple
Allowed me to have a Bath in His house
A Roadside Dabba
gave a tasty Chappathi after worship
While I Bussed down on that Hill
A Sambar I saw and they said Boars behind
Leaopards are there and Hyenas too
May be I shd visit again in September after Rains
Or June in Rains would make you
Surrender unto Bhima Himself
Who is known in many names
and Shiva is One more!
