My Journey with that Plea to Lord Shanmuga
started from Chennai on my Santro

as sudden Potholes
and uneven Roads
were of a lesser threat to our lives(me,my wife&my younger daughter)
than the speeding TRucks

But thank God
when we reached Swamimalai Sterling Resorts
we cdnt believe the Paradise they have created

This old Farmhouse (105 yrs old)
used to be very active in those days with a beautiful canal running inside the Farmhouse
(now there is no water but you can see the river bed and the fields around)
Kanchi Paramacharya used to visit for calmness and used to stay there for days
There is a Tableu to this effect and also the Golden Letters of Lord Macaulay
about the Indian Culture.
The Cuisine,the menu,the restaurant everything around that place take you back to 18th century and it is worth visiting if you are lucky!
