whenever this news of a Rape on a poor girl happens
I feel so sorry as I strongly feel the most inhuman of all CRimes is a Rape.
In India it has become so common and half the time I a told it goes unreported.
I try to find out the reasons for such a cruel behaviour of such animals.
1)The difference between HUmans and animals is that we are supposed to have VIvekam and we can also analyse pros&cons...
2)I enetered the Beautiful Temple of Thiruannamalai with my wife on an evening a year back and at the very main gate I saw a Dog & a bitch casually...enjoying the evening ambience of this Agni Shetram on a rainy evening and if you expect the DOg to understand what it does in front of one of the most Sacred Temples of South India,you must be also a Mad man...
3)I was told most of the time a Lion tamer in a circus gets killed by the very Lion which has been his companion for years and a snake Charmer by the very Cobra with whom he has been palying with for years..as they are all animals after all..
hence
if you expect animals to behave the way you want them to..you must be mad..
But the least you can expect from a Man is to behave like a Man..
Certain people suddenly become Animal by instinct.
You must have observed in our day to day life.
A wife,so affectionate to a Hubby for life long would have brought her Mother Home without Hubby's information..you could see plates flying in the ktichen..still most of the Hubbys wd be controlling that anger to a limit..this is where VIvekam is important.They wdnt like to be impolite even tho' they wd be scolding and screaming the MILs presence...
Then why people like this Cab driver of Pune lose their brain suddenly...
Moham...
This blinds his brain to such an extent that he turns an animal..
There is no difference between him and a mad Dog on the street.
There is no diff between him and the Mad Lion inside the Ring.
There is no difference between him and a "Matha Yanai"
How to control this Moham..
Every one has MOham..

We shd try to become dispassionate..we shd try to cultivate VIveham..we shd try to repeat every time you want to do Himsa(here I prefer to say enjoying your wife 'without' permission also is Himsa)you shd ask yourself whether you have analysed what youwd really feel if you are in that other person's shoes!

How to cultivate this viveham..an anecdote which I can never forget.
Mani is also an ordinary 22 yr old Auto Driver in Chennai.
He was clad in his Karuppu Dhoti as he was praying for Ayyappan when he was driving me towards the Central Station.I normally pick up conversation with all such drivers and asked him "How much money he makes a day,whether he is happy with his life etc."
He said:"sir,Happiness is a frame of our MInd.I can be Happy with what I have and I can be unhappy with what my Co Cab drivers have!"
I was so curious about this reply I asked him:
"You are really a bit philosophic"

Have you seen another Auto fellow like him in Chennai?
Can you expect this man to Rape an innocent Girl even at 1PM in a lone corner of Pune?
Can you expect this man to suddenly show the attitude of a Mad Dog and Lion one day?
I feel not possible as His MInd is conditioned from the very beginning to look at the World in a sublime Form of all pervasive Kindness as he has recieved Teachings on Scriptures(this applies to all Faiths as a TRue Disciple of God can never ever become an animal suddenly!)
and he enjoys the Teachings every second of his life.
In my mind if I enjoy my own wife too 'without her permission' it is a Rape too..unreported.
Man must try elevate himself beyond these sensual pleasures and How can we imagine Sister Nivedita with Swami Vivekananda 100 yrs back with such Hooligans' and animals angles?It is the Mind..if you control it Moham would vanish..Moksham is assured!
